Aruba kayak tour prices, published in full
Most tour operators on this island make you work through a booking widget before they will show you a number. We think that is a strange way to treat somebody who is trying to plan a holiday from four time zones away. So here is the entire price list, the whole inclusion list, and the short list of things we do not cover, on one page, with nothing hidden behind a click.
The whole price list
Adults, 13 and over: $89.99 at our summer rate.
Children 6 to 12: $69.99. A real child rate, not a token discount.
Under 6: we cannot take them. The minimum age on every departure is 6, and if your child is right on that line it is worth messaging us before you book so the guide can say yes with the details in front of him.
That is the list. The same two numbers apply to both routes, the Sea Glass Island crossing from Savaneta and the lagoon and reef tour at Mangel Halto, and to all three daily departures at 8:30 AM, 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. There is no premium for the sunset slot, no weekend rate, and no high season markup buried in the calendar. Every tour runs 2.5 hours and is capped at 10 guests.
What the price includes
The kayak, the paddle, and the life jacket, which is provided and worn on the water. Full snorkel gear, so you do not need to rent a mask anywhere else or buy one at the airport. Your guide, who is local and works in English, Spanish and Papiamento. Drinking water and fresh fruit. And the safety briefing before launch, which is not an extra, it is the reason the rest of the tour goes smoothly.
If you already own a mask you love, especially a prescription one, bring it. Everyone else is covered by what is in the price.
What the price does not include
Getting to the meeting point. Sea Glass Island tours meet at the ramp beside the Flying Fishbone restaurant in Savaneta, and lagoon and reef tours meet at the Mangel Halto beach sign in Pos Chiquito. Both are an easy drive or taxi, and neither is a pickup service, so budget for the ride the way you would for a restaurant reservation.
Tips, which are never expected and always noticed. Anything you buy afterwards, and on this coast that usually means fried fish at Zeerovers. And travel insurance, which is your call and not ours to sell you.
What you never pay extra for
There is no gear rental line item, no fuel surcharge, no booking fee added at the last screen of checkout, and no charge for the sunset departure over the morning one. The number you see when you pick a date is the number that leaves your card.
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, with the full amount returned to your original payment method. Inside 24 hours, or if nobody turns up at the meeting point, the booking is not refundable. If we cancel, for weather or anything else, you choose between a free reschedule and a full refund. Those terms are written out on our cancellation and refund page and we do not improvise around them.
Why the price is the price
You can rent a kayak on this island for less and paddle off on your own, and on a calm morning in a sheltered bay that is a perfectly good day out. What $89.99 buys you is the part that is hard to rent: somebody who has read this coast for years and knows which line to take when the wind gets an opinion, which shallow to cross at which hour, and where the fish actually are rather than where the postcard says they are.
It also buys the cap. Every departure stops at 10 guests. Running two quiet tours instead of one crowded one costs us money and it is the single biggest reason guests write to us afterwards, so the cap is not moving.
The company was founded by a veteran Aruban ranger with decades on Aruba's south coast, and every guide on the crew learned this water from him. That is what the rate is paying for.
How to pay, and what happens next
Book online and the confirmation arrives immediately, with your meeting point, your time, and what to bring. You are not waiting on an email from a person to find out whether your holiday morning is settled.
If you are looking at tomorrow or even later today, the fastest answer is WhatsApp on +1 786 971 2221. A human replies, tells you what is actually free, and books you in.
Where to next
Deciding between the two routes? Read Sea Glass Island or Mangel Halto. Weighing a kayak against a boat trip? Kayak tour or catamaran snorkel cruise lays both out fairly. Want the whole departure to yourself? See private kayak tours. Or start with the overview of all our Aruba kayak tours.
Questions guests ask
Is $89.99 really the final price?
Yes. It is the full adult rate at our summer pricing, with gear, guide, water and fruit included and no booking fee added at checkout. The only things outside it are getting to the meeting point and anything you choose to buy afterwards.
Do you charge more for the sunset tour?
No. The 5:00 PM departure costs exactly the same as the 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM ones. Same price, same 2.5 hours, better light.
What is the child price and what age does it cover?
Children from 6 to 12 pay $69.99. From 13 the adult rate of $89.99 applies. The minimum age on every departure is 6.
What happens to my money if I cancel?
Cancel 24 hours or more before departure and you get 100 percent back to your original payment method. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, is not refundable. If we cancel, you choose a free reschedule or a full refund.
