The journey: from the Savaneta ramp to Sea Glass Island
Push off at Savaneta
We meet at the Sea Glass Island ramp, right beside the Flying Fishbone in Savaneta. Rambo checks your paddle grip and pushes you off — first light, full sun, or golden hour, the water here stays calm.
Out across open water
A short, easy paddle straight off the Savaneta coast — pelicans diving around you, the island growing bigger with every stroke. Five to ten minutes of calm Caribbean is all it takes.
The shore that glitters
Then the trees open, and the beach ahead sparkles in greens, aquas, and whites — decades of ocean-tumbled glass under your feet. Welcome to Sea Glass Island. Time to explore.
What the ocean left behind
Every piece of sea glass began as something ordinary — a bottle, a jar — and spent decades being tumbled, frosted, and softened by the Caribbean. Here's what you might find on the shore.
Bottle Green
Common findThe classic — born from old soda and beer bottles, frosted into soft emerald shards.
Ocean Aqua
Good findMid-century glassware frosted to the exact color of the water you paddled through.
Cobalt Blue
Lucky findFrom old medicine and apothecary bottles — deep blue, rare, and worth the hunt.
Frosted White
Common findOnce clear glass, now moon-white and soft as a beach pebble. Smooth as anything.
Take the memory, leave the shore beautiful — Rambo will show you the best spots and how to hunt for sea glass responsibly.
No filters needed
Real photos from real tours — the water, the glass, and the people who found it.
Two adventures, one island
Both trips are small-group, beginner-friendly, and led by Rambo himself.
